Mr Philip Dimmock,
MA
Chief Operating Officer - Close Biography
Prior to joining Equator, Mr. Dimmock served as general manager of operations of Houston-based Vanco where he oversaw the company’s exploration activities in Africa, including the drilling of offshore and deepwater wells in Equatorial Guinea, Morocco and Cote d’Ivoire. Prior thereto, he was vice president of international operations for five years with Ranger Oil where he was responsible for the company’s operations in the North Sea and West Africa. Mr. Dimmock began his career at British Petroleum where he spent 26 years and held a number of senior positions. He currently serves as a non-executive director of Nautical Petroleum PLC. |

Mr Jubril Adewale Tinubu
Non-executive Chairman - Close Biography
Wale Tinubu is the Group Chief Executive of Oando PLC, Nigeria’s leading integrated energy group with investments spanning the entire energy value chain. The company is one of the largest on the Nigerian Stock Exchange by revenue with a turnover of $2.6 billion in 2008 and over 300,000 shareholders. The group consists of five main divisions with strategic operations in petroleum products marketing, supply and trading, gas and power, energy services and oil exploration and production.
Wale started his career with the family's law firm, K.O. Tinubu & Co. upon graduation, where he worked on corporate and petroleum law assignments. In 1994, he became one of the founding partners of the Ocean and Oil Group. Whilst at Ocean and Oil, Wale was responsible for the strategic expansion of the business.
He became MD/CEO of Oando PLC in July 2001 after serving as the Executive Director, Finance and Administration of the company. He assumed the position of Group Chief Executive in July 2001.
Wale has a Bachelor of Law Degree (LLB) from the University of Liverpool, England and a Master of Law degree (LLM) from the London School of Economics where he specialised in International Finance and Shipping. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, 7th Governing Council for Lagos State University and the Institute of Directors of Nigeria and was selected as a Young Global Leader (Business) in 2007 by the World Economic Forum and the a member of the Global Agenda Council for the future of Africa in 2008 also by the World Economic Forum.

Mr Omamofe Boyo
Non-executive Director - Close Biography
Mr Mofe Boyo is currently the deputy group chief executive officer of Oando Plc. He obtained his Bachelor of Law Degree from Kings College, University of London. He started his career with Chief Rotimi Williams' Chambers, a leading Nigerian law firm, where he specialised in shipping and oil services and worked on several joint venture transactions between the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and major international oil companies.
He is one of the founding members of the Ocean and Oil Group, where he developed and managed the operations department before his appointment in July 2001 as Executive Director, Marketing of Oando. Mr Boyo serves on the boards of companies in the Oando group.

Mr Patrick Bastin
Non-executive Director - Close Biography
Mr Patrick Bastin has more than 35 years experience in banking, spanning several countries around the world where he has held a number of senior positions including overseeing a certain number of Fortune 500 companies while in New-York and Chicago.. He attended the prestigious Universite De Louvain (1969-1970), Transylvania University USA (1964-1969) and Newton High School Newton Mass (1960-1964). In 2005 he was based in Paris at the Lyonnais International Private Bank where he was responsible for a variety of African countries such as Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Kenya as well as the island of Madagascar.
Mr Bastin has also been involved in a number of international mergers, government projects and the supervising of several banking subsidiaries across the globe. At various stages of his career he has been associated with the following well known organisations: Corporate Growth Association 1981, French American Chamber of Commerce New York, French-American Chamber of Commerce Chicago.

Mr David Rowlinson
Non-executive Director - Close Biography
Mr David Rowlinson has over 25 years experience providing fiduciary and financial services in several jurisdictions including Guernsey, Switzerland and Gibraltar. He is co-founder and Managing Director of Liberation Management Limited, a licensed and regulated Guernsey fiduciary services company.
During his career Mr Rowlinson held several senior management positions, including Marketing Executive for Argyll Investment Services Limited and was a Director at Nerine Trust Company Limited with overall responsibility for European Private Clients. Mr Rowlinson has been an active member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners since July 1994.

Mr Pade Durotoye
Non-executive Director - Close Biography
Mr Durotoye was appointed MD/CEO of Oando Exploration Production Limited ('OEPL') in June 2010. Prior to joining OEPL, from 2006 to June 2010, Mr Durotoye served as the MD/CEO of Ocean and Oil Holdings Group, a principal investment and advisory services group and also the core investor in Oando Plc. Whilst with Ocean & Oil, he was a core member of Oando's Group Leadership Council, and a key part of the company's Upstream Diversification Strategy and Execution Team. He advised on and in some cases led, the company's acquisition of oilfield assets and drilling rigs.
Mr Durotoye joined Ocean & Oil in 2006 from Schlumberger Oilfield Services. He worked in Schlumberger for more than 19 years where he held various Management roles in Field Operations, Field Operations Management, Line (Country) Management, Human Resources Management and Business Development and while employed was resident in 8 countries throughout Africa, Europe and the Far East.

Miss Stacey Kivel
Vice President Legal & Business Development, Legal Affairs
- Close Biography
Miss Kivel was one of the first employees of Equator Exploration Limited having joined in early 2005 following the company’s listing on AIM. Miss Kivel has been working with Africa for the past thirteen years. Prior to rejoining Equator, she worked as Corporate Counsel, Head of Business Development and Company Secretary for the H Oil Group, a privately held group of oil and mining exploration and infrastructure development companies with operations throughout Africa where she worked to acquire rights for the company in Democratic Republic of Congo and Angola.
In addition, Miss Kivel has worked as a consultant legal and business development advisor to: Mart Resources, a TSX listed oil production company with marginal field assets in Nigeria; Amber Petroleum, a Nigerian marginal field exploration company, Canoel International Energy, a TSX listed oil exploration and production company, Anglo African Minerals, a mining exploration company with assets in West Africa and has served as a non executive director for NASDAQ listed Geneva Resources. Miss Kivel worked to close two joint venture financing deals for Allied Minerals, an indigenous Nigerian mining company.
Prior to working in resources, Ms. Kivel represented major US and European corporations to develop their business in more than thirty African countries; working at a presidential or ministerial level. Her experience includes heading the Africa/Middle East Department of Institutional Investor, an award winning international financial publication, advising the Rotch Group (now called Consensus) on their international activities and working as an advisor to the Presidency and Ministry of Finance of a Central African nation on offset and countertrade. In addition, Miss Kivel brokered the sale of Hans Brochier, a distressed German multinational civil engineering company.
Prior to her involvement in Africa, Ms. Kivel was In-House Legal Counsel and Head of Acquisitions, consecutively, for two Los Angeles based international entertainment distribution companies where she specialized in negotiating licensing, distribution and financing agreements. She is a California qualified attorney at law with a J.D. from Pepperdine University and received her B.S. in Finance and Economics from the University of Massachusetts. Miss Kivel speaks fluent French, conversational Spanish and is based in London.
